Donors

We can manage projects of nearly any size, or discrete components of them, and we have done so for various donors (foundations, individuals and LLCs) for nearly two decades. RLF receives grants and has worked on projects ranging from $50,000 to $30 million per year. We manage an average of $30 million to $40 million in grants and contracts annually, involving hundreds of grantees and contractors. Our staff cover all back-office services, including financial management, data systems, human resources, and legal oversight. The deep policy and field expertise, connections, and well-honed strategic approach of core program staff can help shape or advance your projects, if you seek such help. We manage rapid initiatives for donors that last mere months. We also take on initiatives that may last a decade.

Donor Services

The RLF Donor Services Program moves quickly but carefully to give the legal, financial, and administrative support donors expect to support high-profile, short-term projects that lack 501(c)(3) status. We sponsor projects that advance our core work in land, water, and ocean conservation, climate change adaptation, public health, social equity, and education. We seek projects that take advantage of our highly skilled team, commitment to measurable outcomes, and proven ability to improve grantmaking.

We can manage your projects and tailor our role to whatever suits you best. Your level of involvement is up to you.
